Editorial policy
How rankings, reviews, guides and benchmarks are researched, written, corrected and kept separate from the way the site earns money.
Standards
- Rankings follow the published criteria and scoring methodology.
- Pay, staffing and survey figures are drawn from BLS and CMS data and cited where they appear.
- We do not publish fabricated testimonials, invented ratings or placement claims we cannot verify.
- Each review names its author and shows when it was published and last updated.
How the site makes money - and how that is kept apart
Rankings are editorial and are not for sale. The order follows the methodology; a vendor that pays us is never ranked first because it pays, and vendors do not review or approve our coverage before it is published.
The site is commercially supported. Some links are affiliate or referral links and we may earn a commission. Some providers pay for sponsored placements, which are labeled "Sponsored" or "Featured Partner" and shown apart from the ranked list. Referrals to our recruiting partner may be compensated. Corrections
When we get something wrong we fix it and note the correction on the page. Corrections can be sent through the contact page.
Updates
Rankings and benchmarks are reviewed on a regular schedule and when a provider materially changes its terms.
